PROJECT SUMMARY
A nonprofit educational organization gets a new look
Student Doctor Network is a nonprofit organization of thousands of pre-health, health professional students and practicing doctors from across the United States and Canada. With tens of thousands of active members and millions posts, SDN has one of the largest installations of vBulletin on the Internet. They engaged Flower Press Creative Studio to update the user experience on StudentDoctor.net, merging several disparate interfaces and pieces of software into one organized and cohesive user experience. We worked on reorganizing the information architecture and merged the main active portion of the site (forums) in with the static information pages and school surveys. After completing the user flow study we worked with their Marketing Director and Executive Director to update the brand identity, color palette and overall look and feel. We created an updated UI for the website, and then proceeded to implement it on Wordpress, vBulletin and Kohana to create a clean, universal user experience. In addition, we created assets for their mobile application, which is used by a growing percentage of their user base.
